I'm about to lose my mind!
Why oh why does my 10 month old suddenly need a bottle in the middle of the night?
You think I'd have answers having done this before, but no....
Alas, I feed her and get back to bed in 15 minutes instead of listening to her scream bloody murder for an hour.
One day I'll sleep again....WHEN I'M DEAD!
It's a good thing she's so cute....

Thirty-One Adventure

Just a couple weeks before I turn 31, I decided to break out of my comfort zone and join the world of self employment!
Yes, I stay at home with my kids.
Yes, my two oldest are in school full time.
Yes, the baby naps.
Yes, my house is generally cleaner than in the past.
No, I don't have that much more free time!
But, I do need "Amy-time"...so enter Thirty-One Gifts!
Their vision is...
"The name thirty-One is derived from the Old Testament, where Proverbs 31 describes a virtuous woman who exhibits hard work, wisdom, encouragement and care for others. Because of these qualities she is worthy of reward, honor and praise."
Thirty-One celebrates, encourages and rewards women for who they are!
So, after prayer and talking it over with Troy, I decided to go for it! I'm anxious, but super excited!
The bags, totes, baskets, aprons and much more....are all super cute! I'm a no pressure girl...if you like it and can afford it, get it. If you like more than your checkbook can afford, consider hosting a party and getting free and 1/2 priced items! The hostess benefits are GREAT!

And a blog begins...
Blogging:
"To write entries in, add material to, or maintain a weblog." (Dictionary.com)
"To keep track of everything (the good, bad and ugly) our family does!" (Amy Stein)
I'll attempt to be brief, because I don't have time to be long winded and you, my friends and family don't have time to read paragraphs and paragraphs about how cute Paige is when she sneezes (though she is), how Spencer knows how to blow his nose (and he does!) or Ty got 9 out of 10 on his Math test today (and he did!). I'll attempt to keep my run-on sentences less run-on-ish and mostly post highlights in our life! :)
This week:
Paige fell out the front door. Ty thought she would be able to "handle it" if he opened the door while she was leaning on it. Scraped head and arm...Ty responded with "she barely cried, she's tough!"....yeah, okay, but she's only 10 months old. Let's be more careful, dude!
That's about it...nothing else too exciting except that I started my own business...I'm a consultant for Thirty-One Gifts.....more about that in another post! :)
A huge thanks to Megan Stavely (now Harkins) for reminding me that I've always wanted to start blogging. My now even-busier-schedule thanks you for adding yet ONE more thing to my "to-do" list. :)
